Certificates for geotextiles
Heat-treated geotextile is a type of non-woven material made of synthetic fibres, whose high technical and performance characteristics determine its demand in various areas. Flexx LLC produces and sells fabrics in rolls with 3.0 m width.
What is heat-treated geotextile
To get a geotextile base, polyester fibers are to be bonded by mechanical needle punching. The produced fabric is characterized by homogeneity and equal density over the entire area. Further on, it undergoes additional heat treatment: blowing with hot air flow, as well as rolling through heated rollers. The production specifics determine the material basic technical and operational indicators.
Heat-treated geotextile characteristics and properties
After the heat treatment, geotextile improves its durability as well as tensile and bursting strength. At the same time, it slightly loses its filtering properties – it is the main difference between heat-treated needle-punched material and needle-punched material without heat treatment.
Other significant parameters of treated fibers include:
- Mold, fungus, and decay resistance. The fabric also can’t be damaged by rodents;
- Environmental safety. It does not emit harmful toxic substances while in use. Heat-treated geotextile fabric is safe for humans and the environment;
- UV (not subject to degradation) and aggressive chemical resistance;
- Can be used in a wide range of temperatures. The fabric is frost tolerant and can survive the heating up to + 110 °C;
- Ease of transportation and installation. Geotextile is characterized by a relatively low weight. It can be installed on either side without losing its original characteristics.
Heat-treated geotextile application areas

Due to its properties, modern heat-treated geotextile can fulfill several functions:
- soil protection from erosion;
- increased load capacity, weak base strengthening, and reinforcing;
- separation of bulk components: stone screening dust, crushed stone, sand, etc.
In some cases, heat-treated fabric may be used in drainage systems for filtration.
Such possibilities of the material have caused its demand in buildings, roads, and underground utilities construction. It is also used in landscape design, site improvements, and drainage systems implementation.
Where to buy heat-treated geotextile in Ukraine
In the production halls of our company, we produce heat-treated geotextile with a density from 100 to 300 g/m2, which is in demand among consumers. This indicator defines the roll length. A wide variety of fabrics allows for solving various issues in domestic and public, as well as industrial spheres. Customers are provided with qualified consulting support. You can pick up the order by yourself or choose Nova Poshta delivery.
