Membrane for blind area is a relatively inexpensive and effective way to organize water drainage from building structures. It is important that the drainage strip around the house was 20-35 cm wider than the eave overhang. Polymer sheets are laid on the base with studs upwards. It is recommended to make an overlap on the wall of at least 15-30 cm. Vertical material fixation is carried out using holding boards. The strips are fastened together with bitumen or butyl rubber tapes. To drain water, a drainage channel is arranged on the part of the gardening area.
The upper decorative and protective layer is arranged from infill materials: a large fraction of sand, crushed stone, and gravel. Colored stones look great. Block paving, green lawn arrangement, and other works are also allowed.
